Starting Young: Flippaball Fun

When Elle was ten years old, she found a cool game called ‘Flippaball’. This is a simpler version of water polo, perfect for beginners. Elle was really good at it and soon joined the Townsville Water Polo club as a junior player.

Elle's Water Polo Journey

Elle first played for the Australian national team, known as the Aussie Stingers, in 2013. This was a big step in her water polo career.

Big Wins and Medals

One exciting moment was when Elle scored four goals in a game against the USA. The Aussie Stingers won 10-7 in the 2017 FINA World League. She also helped her team win a bronze medal at the 2019 FINA World Championships. In 2015, she won a gold medal at the World University Games.

Olympic Dreams

Elle was part of the Australian Stingrays team that played at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The team did well in their group, finishing second. This meant they moved on to the quarterfinals.

However, they had a very close game against Russia and lost 8-9. Because of this, they did not get to play for an Olympic medal that time.

Elle also competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics. There, she helped the Australian team win a silver medal in water polo! This was a fantastic achievement for her and the team.
