Ellenborough Falls is a spectacular waterfall located in New South Wales, Australia. It's known as a horsetail waterfall because of how the water flows down, looking a bit like a horse's tail! Where to Find Ellenborough Falls
Ellenborough Falls is situated in the MidCoast Council area. It's close to the small towns of Elands and Comboyne. The waterfall sits on a high area called the Bulga Plateau. This area is known for its beautiful natural scenery and tall trees.
How Tall is the Waterfall?
Ellenborough Falls is incredibly tall! It has one main drop, meaning the water falls straight down in one big plunge. This single drop is about 160 meters (that's over 500 feet!) high. Some people estimate it could be as tall as 200 meters. This makes it one of the tallest waterfalls in New South Wales.
