Elliott from Earth is a British animated television series created by Guillaume Cassuto that premiered on Cartoon Network in the United Kingdom on March 6, 2021. In United States, it premiered on the same network on March 29, 2021.

Plot

An eleven-year-old boy, called Elliott, and his geologist mother, Frankie, are looking for meteorites on Earth, in order to find more about a few millions old rock, that was lacking a fusion crust. One night, the two accidentally power up the rock which turns out to be a transport sphere, by touching it together. The sphere transports them to another side of the Universe, on a biosphere full of lush plants, called Biosphere 1138, after the rock had lost power. They lose the rock on it. In it, they encounter electric talking frogs and a dinosaur, that they call Mo. They are surprised to talk to the dinosaur, as well as understand him, just as much as Mo is. They are found by an alien sporting a head on his chest, besides the one on his head, named Kane, who came on inspection. He confirms to them that Mo is from Earth, just like them, and sneaks them into a bustling city filled with aliens from the entire Universe, called The Centrium.

On the Centrium, the gang is getting accustomed to the ways of life of the city, while Frankie is looking for answers about the mysterious rock with the help of the Hive, the center of knowledge of the Centrium. One day, the inhabitants of the Centrium lose the ability to get along with each other. At the Hive, Elliott and Frankie find out that the Babbledrogs, the talking frogs of Biosphere 1138, had been going quiet ever since the two arrived on the Centrium. Elliott and Frankie arrive on Biosphere 1138, finding the rock fueling up on the electricity of the talking frogs. Mo takes the rock from the pile of frogs, and Frankie accidentally activates the transport sphere, taking her with him, leaving Elliott on Biosphere 1138.

Part 1: Elliott and his geologist mom, Frankie, travel in their RV. Frankie is trying to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life after being humiliated by her peers while Elliott's attempts to make friends is stifled by their constant moving. After another failed excursion on both parts, they learn that a meteorite they own has something important to show them.

Part 2: Elliott and Frankie are transported to a swamp planet full of talking frogs called babbledrogs while losing the meteorite piece. They also encounter a near-sighted, talking dinosaur whom they name Mo, after Elliott's aunt. As Elliott and Frankie enjoy the flora and fauna of their new environment, they spot a small robotic creature and give chase through the strange environment.

Part 3: The group learns that they are in a biosphere located under Centrium City and are aided by a two-headed maintenance worker named Kane who tries to hide them from their superiors. Elliott and Frankie learn that Mo is from the earth, but that he had been living in the biosphere all his life, confusing Kane who tells them that the biosphere should have been empty and tries to get them out.

Part 4: The group gets lost in their new futuristic city environment and is desperate for a place to stay. After turning down an offer from a creepy-looking alien, they take up the offer of a kindly old lady who turns out to actually be a gorgon who turns people into ice sculptures. After curbing her habit, they take the previous offer and get new domiciles to live in.
