Ema Derossi-Bjelajac (born May 3, 1926 – died June 20, 2020) was an important Croatian politician. She made history by becoming the first woman to hold a position similar to a head of state in modern Croatia.
She served as the President of the Presidency of the Socialist Republic of Croatia. This was a very important leadership role. She held this position from 1985 to 1986.
