Emanuela Grigio facts for kids
Emanuela Grigio (born 7 October 1964 Albignasego) is a former partially sighted Italian Paralympic athlete. She won a silver medal at the 1984 Summer Paralympics, in the 800 meters, and bronze medal in the 400 meters.
Visually impaired from birth, due to a form of congenital nystagmus , he completed his studies at the L. Configliachi Institute of Padua. She started sports. After graduating as a switchboard operator and entering the world of work, she took part in the VII Summer Paralympic Games in New York and won a bronze and a silver medal in the 400 and 800 meters.
She later participated in the IBSA European Championships in Rome in 1985 and in 1988 she was again called up for the Seoul Games, where, always in the same specialties, she gained a fourth place (400 m) and a sixth place ( 800 m).
He ended his international athletic career before 1992, devoting himself exclusively to torball (a sport not present in the Paralympics), which she practiced nationally and internationally.
She is Agnese Grigio's sister .
