Emanuela's Paralympic Journey
Early Success at the 1984 Paralympics
Emanuela Grigio competed in the 1984 Summer Paralympics in New York. The Paralympics are like the Olympic Games, but for athletes with disabilities. At these games, Emanuela showed her amazing skill. She won a silver medal in the 800 meters B2 race. She also earned a bronze medal in the 400 meters B2 race. The "B2" classification means she had a specific level of visual impairment.
Competing at the 1988 Games
Emanuela continued her athletic career and competed again. She participated in the 1988 Summer Paralympics. In these games, she finished fourth in the 400 meters B2 event. She also placed sixth in the 800 meters B2 race.
European Championships and Retirement
