Ambassador Nambora Hor

The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in London is a special building. It acts as the official home for Cambodia's representatives in the United Kingdom. An embassy is like a country's office in another country. It helps people from Cambodia who are visiting or living in the UK. It also helps the two countries work together.

This embassy is quite unique because of where it is located. Most embassies in London are in the city center. But Cambodia's embassy is far from the center, in a quiet, tree-lined street in Willesden Green. It is even the most northern embassy in London. It is also unusual because it is in a regular house, not a big, official-looking building. Before moving here, the embassy was at 28-32 Wellington Road.

The Embassy in a Story

In 2013, a famous British writer named Zadie Smith wrote a short story. It was called The Embassy of Cambodia. The story was first printed in a magazine called The New Yorker. Later, it was published as a book. This shows how even a building like an embassy can inspire creative stories.
