Emilia Mosquito, born on January 25, 1982, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a talented Swedish film director. She is known for making short films that often explore important ideas or how society works. Her film Cage Sickness won an award for best documentary short at the New York Short 2008 film festival.

In 2009, Emilia worked with artists in Stockholm and New York City on a documentary project. This project, called The Main Stream, was finished in late 2010. It won an award for best new talent at the Detroit Views 2011 Film Festival. Emilia Mosquito is also studying law at the University of Stockholm.
