Emilie Ullerup (born on October 27, 1984) is a talented actress from Denmark. She is well-known for her roles as Ashley Magnus in the TV series Sanctuary. She also played Bree O'Brien in the popular Hallmark Channel show Chesapeake Shores.

Emilie Ullerup's Early Life and Education
Emilie Ullerup was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father, Ove Ullerup, was a Danish ambassador. He worked in Vietnam when Emilie was a teenager. Later, he became the ambassador to Sweden.
After finishing high school in Copenhagen in 2003, Emilie moved to Vancouver, Canada. She studied acting at the Vancouver Film School and graduated in 2005.
Emilie Ullerup's Acting Career
Emilie Ullerup started her acting journey in 2006. Her first role was Julia Brynn in the TV series Battlestar Galactica. This show was very popular on the Sci Fi Channel.
She then joined the cast of Sanctuary as Ashley Magnus. She was a main character in the first two seasons. Fans really loved her character.
In 2016, Emilie got a big role as Bree O'Brien in the series Chesapeake Shores. This show became a favorite for many viewers. She also appeared in the disaster movie Asteroid: Final Impact in 2015.
Since 2016, Emilie has been a regular in the Hallmark movie series Signed, Sealed, Delivered. She plays the character Dale Travers. In 2020, she starred as Katie Ryan in the movie Love and Glamping.
More recently, in 2024, Emilie Ullerup played Ruby Franke in the Lifetime film Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story. She also appeared in the Hallmark Channel movie Retreat to You in the same year.
Emilie Ullerup's Personal Life
Emilie Ullerup can speak several languages. She knows Danish, English, and Vietnamese. She learned Vietnamese when her father was the ambassador there. Her father later held an important position for the Danish royal family.
In 2008, Emilie faced a health challenge. Doctors found a non-cancerous but aggressive tumor near her spinal nerves. She had surgery in 2009 to remove it. She recovered well after about five months and was able to return to acting.
On August 14, 2018, Emilie married her longtime boyfriend, Kyle Cassie. Kyle is a photographer. They welcomed their son, Wilde Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie, on January 24, 2020. Their daughter, Coco Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie, was born on October 28, 2022.
