Emilie Ullerup is an actress from Denmark. She was born on October 27, 1984. You might know her best from her roles as Ashley Magnus in the TV show Sanctuary or as Bree O'Brien in the Hallmark Channel series Chesapeake Shores.
Early Life
Emilie Ullerup was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father worked in a diplomatic role for the Danish government. After finishing high school in Copenhagen in 2003, she moved to Vancouver, Canada. There, she studied acting at the Vancouver Film School and graduated in 2005.
Her Acting Career
Emilie's first acting job was in 2006. She played Julia Brynn in the TV series Battlestar Galactica. This show aired on the Sci Fi Channel.
From 2008 to 2010, Emilie played Ashley Magnus in the TV show Sanctuary. She was a main character in the first two seasons.
In 2016, Emilie started playing Bree O'Brien in the popular series Chesapeake Shores. This show is on the Hallmark Channel. She also appeared in the movie Asteroid: Final Impact in 2015. In this film, she played Maggie Thomas.
Since 2016, Emilie has had a regular role in the Hallmark movie series Signed, Sealed, Delivered. She plays a character named Dale Travers. In 2020, she starred as Katie Ryan in the movie Love and Glamping. More recently, in 2024, Emilie played Ruby Franke in the Lifetime film Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story.
Personal Life
Emilie Ullerup can speak three languages: Danish, English, and Vietnamese. Her father used to hold an important position for the Danish royal family.
In 2008, Emilie faced a health challenge. She had a growth near her spinal nerves that needed surgery. After the surgery in 2009, she recovered for about five months. Then, she was able to return to her acting work.
On August 14, 2018, Emilie married her longtime boyfriend, Kyle Cassie. They are both very happy parents. Their son, Wilde Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie, was born on January 24, 2020. Later, on October 28, 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Coco Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie.
