Emma Freedman is a well-known Australian TV and radio presenter. She currently works for Seven Sport, where she hosts shows and reports from different places. Emma grew up in Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula. Before joining Seven Sport, she co-hosted The Grill Team on Triple M Sydney. Emma Freedman's Career Journey
Starting in TV and Radio
In 2010, Emma Freedman began her TV career. She joined Weekend Today as a weather presenter. Later, she also shared weather presenting duties for Today with Steven Jacobs.
For many years, Emma was a regular part of the Nine Network's coverage. She helped report on the exciting Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. She also presented sports news on the Nine Network's Wide World of Sports and Weekend Today. In December 2014, Emma left the Nine Network.
Dancing and Radio Shows
In 2015, Emma showed off her dancing skills. She competed in the fifteenth season of Dancing with the Stars. She won the competition with her dance partner, Aric Yegudkin.
In January 2015, Emma and Jules Lund became hosts of The Scoopla Show. This show was broadcast on the Hit Network. By September 2015, she became the national news presenter for the Hit Network's drive-time shows. In February 2016, she signed a new contract with Southern Cross Austereo. She then hosted Hit 30 and Take 40 Australia across the Hit Network. In October 2016, she moved to Triple M Sydney. There, she became a co-host of The Grill Team.
Returning to Sports and New Roles
In March 2016, Emma rejoined the Nine Network. She hosted Wide World of Sports. In March 2017, she was chosen to host Sports Sunday.
In March 2018, Emma joined the team of presenters at Fox League. This is a channel on Foxtel.
Since 2021, Emma has been a big part of Seven Sport. She hosted the morning coverage for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on 7mate. In October 2021, she started hosting horse racing coverage for Seven in Sydney. Emma has become a key presenter for Seven Sport. She has also worked on the Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Her work also includes cricket, the AFL Brownlow Medal, the AFL Grand Final, and V8 Supercars.
Writing a Book
Emma Freedman is also an author. Her book, Turning Pointes, was published in 2016 by HarperCollins. It is a coming-of-age novel with a ballet theme.

Emma Freedman's father is Lee Freedman. He is a very famous horse trainer. He has won the Melbourne Cup five times.
