Emma Louise O'Driscoll was born on March 23, 1982, in Limerick, Ireland. She is a well-known Irish television presenter. Emma first became famous as a pop star. Later, she became a children's TV presenter and appeared on many reality shows.
Emma became famous after appearing on the TV show Popstars in 2001–2002. On this show, she was chosen to be part of the music group called Six. After the band finished, Emma started presenting The Disney Club. This was a morning show where she took over from Mary Kingston. She has also been on many other TV shows. She even came in second place on the RTÉ reality show Charity 252. A cool fact is that Emma has also appeared on a postage stamp!

Early Life and Talents
Emma O'Driscoll grew up in Limerick, Ireland. She lived there with her two sisters, Julie and Georgina, and her brother, Stephen. From a young age, Emma loved singing and dancing.
She even earned a special Blue Peter Badge. Emma also won championship titles for hip hop and freestyling in Ireland and across Europe. While attending Presentation Secondary School, she decided to try out for Popstars.
In her free time, Emma sang in the Dominican Choir and the Bunratty Castle Singers. She learned her dance moves at Shape Dancing School. She was also a member of a dance group from Limerick called High Voltage. Before becoming a pop star, Emma wanted to be a primary school teacher. Her interest in teaching later led her to work as a Special Needs Assistant. This means she helped students who needed extra support in Our Lady Queen of Peace National School.

Being Part of Six
Emma's first big performance with the band Six was at the ChildLine Concert. This concert took place in the Point Theatre in Dublin. She performed in front of 8,000 people!
The band Six released two very popular songs. Both of these songs reached number one on the Irish Singles Chart. They also had an album that was one of the top five in Ireland. Their first song, "Whole Lot of Loving," sold faster than any other single in Irish music history. Six also went on a big tour with the band Westlife in England. They played 66 shows! They also did two tours across Ireland.
Television Appearances
In May 2004, Emma was one of seven famous people who took part in a reality show called Charity 252. This show was part of the People in Need Telethon. For the show, the celebrities had to run a radio station for 14 hours a day. Cameras watched everything they did. Their progress was shown every night for a week on RTÉ Network 2. Emma actually said no to being on the show at first. But taking part in the series helped her get a radio job. She became a co-host for the breakfast show on Live 95FM.
During the Christmas season, Emma played herself in the Snow White pantomime. A pantomime is a fun musical play often performed around Christmas. This show was at the University Concert Hall in Limerick.
Emma has spent a lot of time working on children's television. She presented The Disney Club and Den Tots. She also made guest appearances on shows like The Cafe and Dustin's Daily News.
In 2006, Emma was on a show called Celebrity Jigs 'n' Reels. This show featured famous people learning and performing traditional Irish dancing. In 2009, Emma took part in another RTÉ reality sports show called Celebrity Bainisteoir. On this show, celebrities became managers of local Gaelic football teams. Emma led her team all the way to the semi-finals of the competition!
In 2010, she was a guest judge on The All Ireland Talent Show. She helped judge the auditions for the South's region alongside John Creedon.
Appearing on a Stamp
In 2011, RTÉ celebrated its 50th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, Emma O'Driscoll appeared on a postage stamp. Her stamp was part of a set of three. The other stamps featured famous Irish broadcasters Gay Byrne and Anne Doyle.
