Emmaculate's Volleyball Journey
Emmaculate Chemtai has played in many big volleyball events. She competed in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. She also took part in the 2019 FIVB Women's World Cup. These are major international tournaments where countries compete.
Playing at the Olympics
Emmaculate was chosen to represent Kenya at the women's volleyball tournament in Tokyo. The Olympics were held in 2021, even though they were called the 2020 Summer Olympics. This was because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To keep everyone safe, the Kenyan team traveled to Tokyo in small groups. This helped reduce the risk of getting sick. In their first match in Tokyo, the Kenyan team played against the home team from Japan.
