Emory is a small community in Washington County, Virginia, USA. It is called a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's a special area defined by the government for counting people.
In 2020, about 1,237 people lived in Emory. This was a small decrease from 1,251 people in 2010. Emory is well-known because it is home to Emory and Henry College. The community is even named after this college!
