Eric Clarke (born 16 February 1957) is a former Australian rules footballer. He played for the St Kilda team in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Eric Clarke's Football Journey
Eric Clarke grew up in Creswick, Victoria. He is an Indigenous Australian. He started playing football at a young age.
Early Success with North Ballarat
When Eric was just 16 years old, he played for the North Ballarat Football Club. He was part of the team that won the championship in 1973! He also helped North Ballarat win two more championships in 1978 and 1979.
Playing for St Kilda
In 1980, Eric joined the St Kilda Football Club in the VFL. The VFL was the top football league at the time, now known as the AFL. He played six games for St Kilda as a 'half forward' player. This position means he played both in the midfield and closer to the goal.
After St Kilda
After leaving St Kilda, Eric Clarke continued his football career. He played for the Redan team. Later, he returned to play for his old club, North Ballarat.
