Playing for His Country
Early International Games
In January 2014, when Eric was 17, he was chosen to play for the Burkina Faso national team. This was for a big tournament called the 2014 African Nations Championship. His team played against Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Morocco. Unfortunately, they did not make it past the first round.

Eric Traoré has scored one goal for his national team. This important goal happened on October 12, 2020. He scored against Morocco in a friendly match. His goal helped Burkina Faso win the game 2–1.
