Eric Maurice Washington (born March 23, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a shooting guard and had a long career in both the National Basketball Association (NBA) and international leagues.

Early Life and College Basketball
Eric Washington was born in Pearl, Mississippi. He grew up loving basketball and worked hard to become a skilled player.
Playing for Alabama
Eric attended the University of Alabama for college. He played for the Alabama Crimson Tide team from 1993 to 1997. During his time there, he scored a total of 1,532 points. He also grabbed 557 rebounds, which means he helped his team get the ball back after missed shots. Eric was also very good at shooting from far away, making 262 three-point field goals.
