Erica Fawn Gimpel (born June 25, 1964) is an American actress, singer, dancer, and composer. She is well-known for her roles on TV shows. These include playing Coco Hernandez in Fame and Angel Brown in Profiler.
She also had important roles as Adele Newman in ER and Alicia Fennel in Veronica Mars. From 2018 to 2020, Erica Gimpel played Trish in the TV series God Friended Me.
In 2010, Gimpel released her first music CD, called Spread your Wings and Fly. She was also a judge on an Irish TV talent show called Fame: The Musical. This show looked for young actors to star in a touring play of Fame.

Her parents were also artists. Her mother, Phyllis Bash, was a singer who toured with the opera Porgy and Bess. Her father, Joseph Gimpel, was an actor, singer, and writer. Erica grew up around music and acting.
