Erika Fasana (born 17 February 1996) is a talented Italian artistic gymnast. She represented her country at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Erika is known for being the first Italian gymnast to perform the "Chusovitina" on floor. She was also the second Italian, after Vanessa Ferrari, to complete the "Silivas" move.

Erika's Early Career
Starting Strong in 2010
In March 2010, Erika competed at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy. She earned a bronze medal in the all-around competition.
Later that year, in April, Erika took part in the European Championships in Birmingham, United Kingdom. She helped the Italian team win a bronze medal. Individually, she finished fifth in the all-around final. She also won a bronze medal on the vault and placed fifth on the floor exercise.
Success in 2011
In July 2011, Erika competed at the European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Turkey. Her strong performance helped the Italian team win a gold medal!
Individually, Erika won a silver medal in the all-around competition. She also earned bronze medals on both the vault and uneven bars, and a silver medal on the floor exercise.
Senior Gymnastics Journey
Big Year in 2012
In January 2012, Erika competed at the London Prepares series in the United Kingdom. Her team finished first, which meant Italy qualified a full team for the upcoming Olympics!
In May, Erika competed at the European Championships in Brussels, Belgium. She helped the Italian team win another bronze medal. Erika shared that the team's strong support for each other was the main reason for their success.
London Olympics Experience
In July 2012, Erika competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom. She performed well in the qualification rounds. In the team final, Erika contributed to the Italian team's seventh-place finish.
American Cup Bronze in 2015
In March 2015, Erika Fasana competed at the American Cup. She showed her skill by winning a bronze medal at this important event.
