Early Life and High School

Ernest Brown grew up in the Bronx, New York. He started playing basketball at a young age. For high school, he attended St. Raymond High School for Boys in the Bronx. He also played at St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago.

College Basketball

After high school, Ernest went to Indian Hills Community College. He played college basketball there from 1999 to 2000. Playing in college helped him prepare for a professional career.

Professional Career

Ernest Brown was chosen in the second round of the 2000 NBA draft. The Miami Heat picked him as the 52nd player overall. He played three games for the Miami Heat during the 2001-02 NBA season. After that, he was released by the team. He was also briefly signed by the Boston Celtics but was later released.

Most of Ernest's career was spent in other basketball leagues. These included the NBDL (now called the NBA G League) and various leagues in other countries. His last NBA game was on April 14, 2002. In that game, he scored 3 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and made 1 block.

Playing Around the World

Ernest Brown played basketball in many different countries. In 2007, he played for a team in Puerto Rico called Grises de Humacao. In 2008, he played three games in the Philippines.
