Esther Daphna "Esti" Ginzburg-Keizman (Hebrew: אסתי גינזבורג; born 6 March 1990) is a famous Israeli model, actress, and TV host. She has worked for many international fashion brands. Some of these include Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, and Pull and Bear. She was also featured in the popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2009, 2010, and 2011. In 2013, Forbes Israel magazine said she was one of the highest-paid models in Israel.
Early Life and Background
Esti Ginzburg was born and grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her mother, Adrian Walter-Ginzburg, is an American Jewish expert on aging. She moved to Israel from America. Esti's father, Arieh "Arik" Ginzburg, is an architect. His family comes from Ashkenazi Jewish backgrounds in Poland and Belarus.
Her grandfather, Shlomo "Grisha" Ginzburg, was also an architect. He was involved in planning and building parts of Tel Aviv. Esti went to high school in northern Tel Aviv.
On 22 July 2009, Esti joined the Israel Defense Forces as a soldier. She believes that military service is important. She said, "Military service is part of the things I personally believe in."
Career Highlights
Esti Ginzburg began her modeling career very young. She was only eight years old when she appeared in a milk advertisement. At 14, she signed a contract with the well-known modeling agency Elite Models.
In 2006, she made a deal with the Israeli company Fox. She was also on the cover of the French Elle magazine in 2007. Esti has modeled for big international brands. These include Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, FCUK, and Pull and Bear. She also worked with the Israeli fashion brand Castro. She became widely known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for three years in a row.
Esti also tried acting. She appeared in the 2010 film Twelve. Later, she was in the American comedy movie Movie 43 in 2013.
Besides modeling and acting, Esti has been a TV host. She was a co-host for the first season of the Israeli singing competition show HaKokhav HaBa. This show is also known as Rising Star.
Helping Others
Esti Ginzburg cares about helping people. She volunteers for the Hayim Association. This organization helps children in Israel who have cancer. They work to give these children support and relief.
Personal Life
Esti Ginzburg is married to Adi Keizman, who works in real estate. They got married on 8 June 2012. Esti and Adi have two sons together.
