Ethan Vernon is a talented cyclist from Great Britain. He was born on August 26, 2000, in Bedford, England. Ethan is known for his skills in both road cycling, where races happen on regular roads, and track cycling, which takes place on special indoor tracks called velodromes. He currently rides for the professional team Israel–Premier Tech.

Ethan's Cycling Journey
Ethan started his cycling journey by competing in BMX races until he was 14 years old. After that, he decided to focus on road and track cycling.
Early Wins and Achievements
In 2017 and 2018, Ethan showed great promise. He won five national junior track titles, which are championships for younger riders. He also earned a silver medal in the individual pursuit at the 2018 UCI World Junior Championships. This was a big achievement on the world stage for junior cyclists.
He represented Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, a major sports event for countries of the Commonwealth. He finished fourth in the team pursuit, showing his strength in team events. Ethan also competed for Great Britain in the team pursuit at the 2018–19 UCI Track Cycling World Cup, where his team finished third in London.

In March, he won his first professional race stage at the Volta a Catalunya in Spain. Later that year, he had back-to-back wins at the Okolo Slovenska race, winning both the opening prologue and the first stage.
In January 2023, Ethan continued his winning streak by taking victory at the Trofeo Palma race. A month later, he won two stages at the Tour du Rwanda. In April, he won another stage at the Tour de Romandie.
In August 2023, Ethan returned to the track and won his first elite World Championships title in the elimination race. This was a huge moment in his career. Soon after, he went back to road racing and won the prologue of the Deutschland Tour.
Later in 2023, Ethan announced he would be joining a new team, Israel–Premier Tech, starting in 2024. In February 2024, he won his first race of the year, the opening stage of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes. In May, he competed in his first ever Grand Tour, the Giro d'Italia, which is one of the biggest and toughest road races in the world.
