Eva Arguiñano (born April 4, 1960) is a famous Spanish chef and television presenter. She is well-known for her delicious dessert recipes and her fun cooking shows. Eva is the sister of another famous chef, Karlos Arguiñano, and she started her cooking journey working with him. She has also written several cookbooks, mostly about amazing desserts.
Eva's Early Cooking Days
Eva began her cooking career at just 16 years old. She started as an assistant pastry chef, working alongside her brother Karlos. She took many cooking classes to improve her skills. Eva became very good at making pastries. Later, she became the head pastry chef at a restaurant opened by her family.
Becoming a TV Star
Eva first appeared on television in 1991. She was part of a TVE program called "Cuisine Every Day," which starred her brother. On the show, Eva was in charge of all the dessert recipes. She continued to appear in later seasons of the show.
In 1998, Eva also joined her brother on a show called "Telecinco Kitchen." She even worked with Karlos on his program "Karlos in Your Kitchen" in Argentina.
Her Own TV Shows
In 2006, Eva got her very own television show on the La Sexta channel. It was called "Hoy cocinas tú," which means 'You're cooking today'. On this show, Eva taught a person how to make a full meal. This meal was then prepared for their guests. Eva hosted this show until 2009.
She also presented another show on the same channel in 2007, called "Temptations of Eve." Between 2009 and 2010, Eva hosted special TV programs. These included "Hogarutil as Eve" and "Christmas with Enrique" (with Enrique Fleischmann). She also had "Breakfast and Snacks Eva Arguiñano." From 2011 to 2013, she presented a cooking reality show called "Kitchen with New Feeling."
