Eva Theresa Bradshaw (1871–1938) was a talented Canadian painter. She was especially known for her beautiful paintings of flowers.

Eva Theresa Bradshaw was born in 1871. Her hometown was London, Ontario, in Canada.

She loved art and studied with many teachers. In Canada, she learned from John and James Griffiths. She also had a special mentor named Florence Carlyle.

Eva also traveled to the United States to study art. She took classes in big cities like Boston, Philadelphia, and New York. In New York, she learned from a famous artist named Robert Henri.

Her paintings were shown in many art shows. From 1902 to 1907, she regularly showed her work with the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. This was a very important art group.

In 1923, her paintings were even shown in England! They were part of the Canadian art section at the British Empire Exhibition in Wembley.

Eva was also a member of the Western Art League for over 30 years. She helped the group by being their treasurer for a long time.

Eva Theresa Bradshaw passed away in 1938.

Her Art Lives On

After Eva Bradshaw died, her art was still celebrated. In 1941, the London Art Gallery held a special show. This show looked back at many of her paintings. It was called a "retrospective."

Today, you can still see her artwork. More than a dozen of her paintings are part of the collection at Museum London.
