About Museum London

Museum London first opened its doors in 1940. It started as part of the London Public Library. Later, in 1989, it joined with the London Regional Art Gallery and the London Regional Historical Museum. This made it the big museum it is today.

The Museum Building

The building where Museum London is located was designed by a famous architect named Raymond Moriyama. He also designed other cool places. These include Science North in Greater Sudbury and the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto.

What You Can See

Museum London has many exciting things to explore. It has a large collection of both art and historical items.

Art Collection

The museum's art collection includes about 5,000 pieces. You can see works by famous artists like Lawren Harris. He was one of the founders of a well-known group called the Group of Seven. Other artists whose work is displayed include Kent Monkman and Edward Burtynsky.
