Ewan McGrady (born on July 6, 1964) is a former professional rugby league player from Australia. He was known for his exciting play in the 1990s. Ewan played for two main teams: the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Western Suburbs Magpies.

Ewan McGrady was born in a town called Moree in New South Wales, Australia. He has a mixed heritage, with family roots from both Aboriginal people and Irish people.
Ewan's Rugby League Journey
Ewan McGrady was a talented player who made a big impact in rugby league. In 1988, he played as a halfback for the Northern Division team. He scored two tries in a big 36–12 win against the Great Britain Lions.
Ewan made his very first top-level rugby league appearance in 1990. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs against Eastern Suburbs. In his first season, Ewan was the top try scorer for his club.
Awards and Achievements
The year 1991 was a fantastic year for Ewan McGrady. Many people thought he was the best player in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership. He won the famous Rothmans Medal for his outstanding performance.
Ewan was also named the Rugby League Week player of the year in 1991. For the second year in a row, he was the top try scorer for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Moving Teams
After the 1993 season, Ewan McGrady left the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He then joined the Western Suburbs Magpies for the 1994 season. Ewan played only four games for Western Suburbs before leaving the club. He did not play top-level rugby league again after that.
