Extreme Noise Terror (often called ENT) is a British band that started in Ipswich, England, in 1985. They play a loud and fast type of music called crust punk and grindcore. They were one of the first bands in Europe to play grindcore music. They also helped create a mix of these styles called crustgrind.
This band was one of the first hardcore punk groups to use two singers at the same time. They even recorded music for famous BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel. Their songs often have lyrics about political ideas, with powerful guitars and very quick rhythms.
