South Florida Surf (2016-2017)
The team first played as South Florida Surf. In 2016, they finished second in their division. They even made it to the Conference Semifinals in the playoffs. This was a strong start for the new club. In 2017, they finished seventh in their division. They also played in the second round of the Open Cup that year.
North County United (2018)
In 2018, the team changed its name to North County United. They continued to play in the USL PDL. During this season, they finished eighth in the Southeast division.
Treasure Coast Tritons (2019-2020)
The club became the Treasure Coast Tritons in 2019. They joined the USL League Two. They had a good season, finishing second in their division. However, the 2020 season was different. It was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This meant no games were played that year.
FC Florida U23 (2021-Present)
Since 2021, the team has been known as FC Florida U23. In 2021, they finished sixth in the Southeast division of USL League Two. The following year, in 2022, they finished ninth in the same division. The team continues to compete and develop young players.
