Imagine a time when a big factory made delicious chocolate! The Cima Norma Chocolate Factory was a famous company in Torre-Dangio, a small town in Ticino, Switzerland. It was also known as Chocolat Cima-Norma S.A. This factory made lots of chocolate products.
The Cima brothers started the factory in 1903. For many years, it was a busy place. Sadly, the factory had to close down in 1968. This happened because of money problems, and it could no longer make chocolate.

What Was Cima Norma?
The Cima Norma factory was a place where all kinds of cocoa products were made. They created everything from chocolate powder to yummy chocolate bars. It was a big industrial company.
Where Was the Factory Located?
The factory building is still standing today. You can find it at the start of the Val Soia valley. This area is right at the bottom of the huge Rheinwaldhorn mountain. It's in the Blenio municipality now.
Cima Norma Today
Even though the factory stopped making chocolate, the building is still used! In 2016, a special group called "La Fabbrica del Cioccolato" (The Chocolate Factory) was created. This group helps promote culture and art.
A Place for Artists
