A Look Back in Time
Fair Play started as a busy mining town in the 1850s. People came here hoping to find gold. By the 1880s, the town changed. It became more focused on farming. The land was good for growing crops.
A post office served the community for many years. It was open from 1860 until 1944. The Fair Play Cemetery is still open today. It is a place where people can visit and remember loved ones.
