A Look Back at Fairview's History
Fairview has an interesting past! Long ago, this community was known by a different name: Sugar Branch.
In 1835, a post office was opened here under the name Sugar Branch. A post office is a place where you can send and receive mail. Later, in 1911, the post office and the community changed their name to Fairview. The post office continued to serve the area until it closed down in 1935.
