Fausto Corrêa Silva, known to everyone as Faustão (which means "Big Fausto"), is a famous Brazilian TV host. He used to be a radio host too. He was born on May 2, 1950, in Porto Ferreira, Brazil. Faustão started working in radio when he was only 14 years old. Later, in the 1980s, he moved to television.

Faustão became very well-known for creating and hosting a show called Perdidos na Noite (meaning "Lost in the Night"). This was a late-night variety show that ran from 1984 to 1988. It was shown on different TV channels like TV Gazeta, RecordTV, and Rede Bandeirantes. The show was famous for being funny and unplanned. It often showed what was happening behind the scenes. It also featured interviews, music, and jokes. Many people loved Perdidos na Noite because it was so different.

In 1989, Faustão joined Rede Globo, a big TV network. He started hosting a Sunday afternoon show called Domingão do Faustão. This show was on TV Globo from 1989 to 2021. It had live music, dance contests, and many fun segments. After leaving Globo, he hosted Faustão na Band on Rede Bandeirantes from 2022 to 2023.

Fausto Silva has faced some serious health challenges. Because of a heart problem, he had a heart transplantation on August 27, 2023. This surgery happened at Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital in São Paulo. He also had a kidney transplantation at the same hospital on February 26, 2024.
