Felipe Andrés Mora Aliaga (born August 2, 1993) is a professional football player from Chile. He plays as a striker, which means he is a player who tries to score goals. Felipe currently plays for the Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers and also for the Chile national team.

Felipe Mora's Journey in Football

Playing for Chile's National Teams

Felipe Mora started playing for his country's youth teams. In 2013, he was part of the Chile national under-20 football team. He scored a goal against Ecuador in a big tournament called the 2013 South American Youth Championship.

His team then qualified for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey. There, he scored another goal, this time against Iraq during the group stage.

Later, Felipe got to play for the main Chilean senior team. His first game was on May 31, 2018. He came into the game during the second half of a friendly match against Romania. On October 15, 2019, he scored his very first goal for the national team in a friendly game against Guinea, which Chile won 3-2.

Club Career Highlights

Felipe Mora has played for several football clubs throughout his career. He started his professional journey in Chile.

Early Years in Chile

He played for Audax Italiano from 2011 to 2016. During this time, he scored 33 goals in 121 games for the main team. He also played a few games for Audax Italiano's B team.

After that, he moved to Universidad de Chile for the 2016-2017 season. He had a great time there, scoring 18 goals in 26 matches.

Playing in Mexico

In 2017, Felipe moved to Mexico to play for Cruz Azul. He played 33 games and scored 12 goals for them.

Later, he joined UNAM, first on loan in 2018, and then permanently. He continued to score goals, adding 14 goals in 37 games during his loan period.

Joining Portland Timbers

In 2020, Felipe Mora moved to the United States to play for the Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer. He first joined on loan and then signed a permanent contract in 2021.

Since joining the Timbers, he has become a very important player. As of July 2025, he has played over 100 games for the club and scored 37 goals. He continues to be a key striker for the team.
