Discover the Festival's History and Purpose
The very first Festival Latinoamericano happened in 2001. It was held at the Boulders Apartment Complex. About 75 people attended that first event. It was a huge success right from the start!
How the Festival Grew
The festival quickly became too big for its first location. It soon moved to downtown Provo. Now, it is a large yearly event. You can find it on the grounds of the Utah County Historic Courthouse. This is at University Avenue and Center Street. In recent years, about 30,000 people have visited the festival.
