Musical Journey
Fiki was born in the city of Shumen, Bulgaria. Growing up with a famous singer for a father, he was surrounded by music from a young age.
A Big Break
In 2012, Fiki's talent was noticed on a global stage. He was chosen to be part of the Voices of Youth Music, a large international choir. This choir performed at the opening of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. For his audition, he sang two songs by the legendary artist Stevie Wonder.
His first official song was a duet with his father called "Kazhi mi kato mazh" ("Tell Me Like a Man"). Soon after, in 2013, he worked with the singer Galena on the song "Koy" ("Who"). This song was a huge success. It won "Hit of 2013" from the website signal.bg and "Duet Song of 2013" at the Planeta TV awards. Following this success, Fiki signed a contract with the music company Payner.
Rising to Fame
In April 2014, Fiki released his first solo song, "Beshe obich" ("There Was Love"). It quickly became a number-one hit in Bulgaria. That summer, he joined the Planeta Summer 2014 tour, performing for fans across the country.
Fiki became known for his exciting collaborations with other famous artists. He released "Bozhe, prosti" ("God, Forgive") with Galena and "Gore-dolu" ("More or Less") with the singer Preslava. These songs helped make him one of the most popular young singers in Bulgaria.
Major Hits and Awards
The year 2015 was very busy for Fiki. He released several successful songs, including the ballad "Dusha" ("Soul") and the energetic track "Bum" ("Boom"). He also worked with the singer Azis on the song "Blokiran" ("Blocked").
His hard work paid off. At the annual Planeta TV Awards, Fiki won the award for Singer of the Year for 2015. In 2016, he released his first album, titled Is This Love. The album included his first song in English.
Over the next few years, Fiki continued to release popular songs like "Ako iskash" ("If You Want") and "Pate" ("Duckling").
