Playing for Nantes

In 2008, Đorđević joined Nantes, a team in France. At first, he was on loan. He helped Nantes get promoted to Ligue 1, which is the top football league in France.

Because of his good performance, Nantes signed him permanently. In the 2008–09 season, Nantes went back to Ligue 2. Đorđević kept playing for them.
