Filip Bradarić (born on January 11, 1992) is a Croatian former professional footballer. He played as a defensive midfielder, which is a player who helps protect the defense and win the ball back. Filip is known for his time playing for clubs like Hajduk Split and Rijeka. He also proudly represented his country, Croatia, in international matches, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Filip Bradarić's Football Journey
Starting with Hajduk Split
Filip Bradarić began his football career in the youth academy of Hajduk Split. This is where young players learn and train to become professional footballers. In the summer of 2011, he was loaned to a team called Primorac 1929. He played there for two seasons and was a key player for their team.
After his loan, in the summer of 2013, Filip joined Hajduk's main team. He made his first appearance in Croatia's top football league, Prva HNL, on July 13, 2013. In that game, Hajduk Split won 5–1 against NK Zadar.
Moving to Rijeka
On February 3, 2015, Filip Bradarić signed a contract with Rijeka. This was a new and exciting step in his career. He signed a deal that would keep him with the club for three and a half years.
His time at Rijeka was very successful. On May 5, 2017, he and the club agreed to extend his contract until June 2020. During his time with Rijeka, he helped the team achieve great things, including winning important championships.
Playing for Cagliari
On August 3, 2018, Filip Bradarić signed a five-year contract with Cagliari. This move marked his first time playing football outside of Croatia. At Cagliari, he joined two other Croatian players, Darijo Srna and Marko Pajač.

Joining the National Team
In November 2016, Filip Bradarić received his first invitation to play for the senior Croatia squad. This is a big honor for any footballer. He was called up for matches against Iceland and Northern Ireland. He made his first appearance for Croatia in a friendly match against Northern Ireland on November 15, 2016.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup
In May 2018, Filip was included in Croatia’s first list of players for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. This is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world. On June 4, 2018, he was confirmed as part of Croatia's final squad for the World Cup.
During the tournament, on June 26, 2018, Filip came on as a substitute for Luka Modrić in the 65th minute of the match against Iceland. By playing in this match, he became only the third player from HNK Rijeka to ever play in a FIFA World Cup. Croatia had an amazing run in the tournament, reaching the final.
