Making History at the Olympics
Finn and his teammates made history at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. They were the first Irish team ever to compete in the 4x200 meter freestyle relay at an Olympic Games. This was a very big moment for Irish swimming!
The Tokyo Olympics was only Finn's second major swimming competition. Before that, he competed at the European Aquatics Championships in 2021.
Early Achievements
Finn showed his talent early on. In April 2021, he broke his first Irish national record. This happened in the 400 meter freestyle final at the Irish National Team Trials. These trials are like tryouts for the national team.
