What's the Story About?
In this book, the four children – Julian, Dick, Anne, and George – along with their dog, Timmy, are ready for their school holidays. They plan to visit Kirrin Island, which belongs to George's family. But there's a problem! George's dad, Uncle Quentin, is a brilliant scientist. He is using the island for some very secret experiments.
Uncle Quentin is working on a special formula for a new type of energy. This secret is so important that some bad people want to steal it!
A Daring Kidnapping
Suddenly, Uncle Quentin is kidnapped! The villains take him to a hidden tunnel under the sea. They want to force him to give them his secret energy formula.
It's up to the Famous Five to save him! They must use all their bravery and cleverness to find Uncle Quentin and stop the villains.
New Friends and Foes
During their adventure, the children meet a new friend named Martin. He is a boy who loves to draw and paint. But Martin's guardian, Mr. Curton, is part of the gang trying to steal Uncle Quentin's secret. Can the children trust Martin? Will he help them, or is he on the side of the bad guys?
The Five face many challenges as they try to rescue Uncle Quentin and protect his amazing discovery.
