Flambeau Lake is a beautiful lake located in Vilas County, Wisconsin, USA. It's a popular spot for fishing and enjoying nature. The entire community of Lac du Flambeau surrounds this large lake.

Flambeau Lake is quite big, covering about 1,166 acres of water. That's like more than 880 football fields! It's a "drainage lake," which means water flows into it from other places and then drains out into rivers or other lakes.

The lake is not super deep everywhere. Its average depth is about 28 feet. But in some spots, it can get as deep as 78 feet! That's as tall as an eight-story building.

Where is Flambeau Lake?

You can find Flambeau Lake in northern Wisconsin, within Vilas County. The town of Lac du Flambeau is right on its shores. This makes it easy for people to visit and enjoy the lake.

If you want to bring a boat, there's a public boat ramp on the northeast side of the lake. You can get to it easily from Highway 47.

Flambeau Lake is home to many different kinds of fish. It's a great place for fishing! Here are some of the fish you might catch:
