Flavia Beverage Systems facts for kids
Flavia is a special system that makes hot drinks one cup at a time. It's great for making coffee, tea, and hot chocolate quickly. This system first came out on March 8, 2005.
For many years, Flavia was part of a company called Mars Drinks, which is a division of Mars, Incorporated. But on October 1, 2018, another company named Lavazza bought Flavia and other coffee businesses from Mars. So now, Lavazza owns the Flavia brand.

How Flavia Works: Fresh Packs
Flavia uses a special way to make drinks with something called a "Fresh Pack." Imagine a small, sealed packet that holds your coffee or tea. This packet is actually the part where your drink is brewed!
When you use a Flavia machine, the hot water goes into this Fresh Pack. The drink then pours straight from the pack into your cup. This means the drink doesn't travel through any shared tubes, keeping each cup fresh and clean. After you're done, the used packs go into a tray inside the machine. You just empty this tray when the machine tells you it's full.
These Fresh Packs are sealed tightly with foil. This special seal keeps the coffee grounds and tea leaves safe from air and moisture. This helps them stay fresh and taste great. Flavia makes different kinds of machines. Some are big machines that take coins, often found in offices. Others are smaller, portable machines that you can use at home.

Awards and Recognitions
In February 2006, the Flavia Fusion drinks station received the Good Housekeeping Seal. This is a special award from a well-known magazine. It means that the product has been tested and is trusted. When a product gets this seal, it also comes with a two-year limited warranty, which is like a promise that the product will work well for that time.
