Flavia Beverage Systems facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Flavia is a special system that makes single cups of hot drinks. It can make coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. This system was first launched on March 8, 2005. For a long time, Flavia was part of a company called Mars Drinks. But in 2018, another company named Lavazza bought the coffee parts of Mars, including Flavia.

How Flavia Makes Drinks

Flavia uses a special way to make your drink. It has a "Fresh Pack" for each serving. This pack is like a mini brewing room. When you use it, the hot water goes into the pack. Then, your drink pours straight from the pack into your cup. This means each drink is fresh and clean.

After you make a drink, the used pack goes into a tray. You just empty this tray when the machine tells you to. The Fresh Packs are sealed in foil. This keeps the coffee and tea fresh. It stops air and moisture from getting in. Flavia makes different kinds of machines. Some are big, like coin-operated ones for offices. Others are small and easy to move, perfect for homes.
