Before becoming a writer, she worked as a publicist. This meant she helped famous athletes like Muhammad Ali and Michael Spinks share their stories with the public. In the mid-1980s, she started writing about entertainment news.
Flo Anthony made history as the first African-American reporter on the gossip column for the New York Post. She was also the first African-American to write a column for The National Examiner. She became an expert on many celebrities, including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Donald Trump. She often appeared on TV shows like Inside Edition, The Insider, and Entertainment Tonight to share her insights.
Television and Radio Career
During the 1990s, Flo Anthony was a frequent guest on many popular talk shows. These included The Ricki Lake Show, The Joan Rivers Show, and The Maury Povich Show. She also appeared on news channels like CNN and Fox News Channel.
