Different Versions of the F28
The Fokker F28 Fellowship came in several different versions, or "Marks," which had slight changes.
- The Mk 1000 was the original, shorter version.
- The Mk 2000 had a longer body, about 87 inches (2.2 meters) longer than the Mk 1000. This allowed it to carry more passengers.
- The Mk 3000 kept the shorter body of the Mk 1000 but had wider wings, like the Mk 4000.
- The Mk 4000 had the longer body of the Mk 2000 and also featured wider wings. It also had extra emergency exits over the wings.
Who Used the F28?
