Folarin Yaovi Campbell (born February 27, 1986) is a basketball player from Nigeria and America. He played for the Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin team in Israel. Before playing professionally, Folarin played college basketball for the George Mason Patriots. He was a starting guard for the Patriots. During his second year in 2006, his team made an amazing journey to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament. They were even called the "Cinderella Team" because of their unexpected success!

Folarin Campbell's Basketball Journey
Early Life and High School Years
Folarin Campbell grew up in Lanham, Maryland. He went to several schools there, including Glenridge Elementary and Kenmoor Middle School. In 2001, he moved to Silver Spring, Maryland. He graduated from Springbrook High School in 2004.
While at Springbrook, Folarin was a top player. The Washington Post newspaper chose him as a first-team All-Metropolitan player in his junior and senior years. As a junior, he was the best scorer in Montgomery County public schools. He averaged an impressive 26.3 points in each game.
College Basketball Career
Folarin chose to attend George Mason University. He picked George Mason over other well-known schools like Providence and Georgetown.
- Freshman Year (2004–05): Folarin played in 29 games and started one. He was named to the CAA All-Rookie team. He averaged 6.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
- Sophomore Year (2005–06): This was a very important year! Folarin was a key part of George Mason's incredible run to the 2006 Final Four. He started 34 out of 35 games. He scored double-digit points in all five of Mason's NCAA Tournament games. This included 21 points against Michigan State and 15 points against North Carolina.
- Junior Year (2006–07): Folarin was named Third-Team All-CAA. He led his team in scoring, assists, three-pointers, and steals. He was one of only two players in the CAA conference to rank high in scoring, assists, and steals.
- Senior Year (2007–08): Folarin finished his college career by being selected to the Second-Team All-CAA team. He scored 15 or more points in 17 games in a row before the NCAA Tournament. He scored double-digit points 76 times during his college career. He is the only player in George Mason's history to achieve over 1,500 points, 450 rebounds, 350 assists, 150 three-pointers, 100 steals, and 50 blocks.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Folarin Campbell began his professional basketball career.
- Italy (2008–2009): He signed his first professional contract with Solsonica Rieti in Italy.
- Germany (2009–2011): He then moved to Germany. He played for the Artland Dragons in the 2009–2010 season. The next year, he played for the Telekom Baskets Bonn.
- Return to Italy (2011–2012): After two years in Germany, Folarin returned to Italy. He had a short time with FastWeb Casale Monferrato. Then, he played for Pallacanestro Sant'Antimo during the 2011–2012 season.
- Latvia and Other Teams (2012–2015): In November 2012, he signed with the Latvian team BK Ventspils. He also played for Enel Brindisi and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. In March 2015, he signed with Orlandina Basket.
- Poland (2015–2016): On October 15, 2015, Folarin signed with Czarni Słupsk in the Polish Basketball League.
- Israel (2017–2018): On September 29, 2017, Folarin signed with the Israeli team Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin. He played for them during the 2017–2018 season.
