Fools Garden is a popular German music band. They started making music in 1991. At first, their name was Fool's Garden (with an apostrophe).
Their first album was called Fool's Garden and came out in 1991. In 1993, they released Once in a Blue Moon. This was their first album with the full band.
Two years later, in 1995, they released Dish of the Day. This album became very famous because of the song "Lemon Tree". This song was a big hit in Europe and Asia. It even reached number 26 on the music charts in the UK Singles Chart in 1996.
In 2003, some members left the band. New members joined, including Dirk Blümlein (who plays bass) and Claus Müller (who plays drums). At this time, the band changed its name to Fools Garden, without the apostrophe.
Fools Garden sometimes plays cover versions of famous rock and roll songs during their live shows. A cover version is when a band plays a song originally made by another artist. For example, they have played songs by The Beatles and The Who. They also put cover versions of Beatles songs like "Cry Baby Cry" on their own albums.
In 2009, the band released a greatest hits album called High Times. This album had fifteen songs. It included a new song called "High Time". It also had some of their well-known hits, like "Lemon Tree", re-recorded with the new band members.
Their most recent album, Who Is Jo King?, was released in 2012.
