Fort Howard, Wisconsin facts for kids
Fort Howard was once a small city located in Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. It started out as a "borough" (a type of town) on October 13, 1856. It covered about 664 acres.
Later, on April 2, 1895, the people of Fort Howard voted to join the nearby city of Green Bay. After this vote, Fort Howard became part of Green Bay and stopped existing as its own city.
The city of Fort Howard got its name from a nearby military post called Fort Howard.
