Fortuna station is a train station located in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, United States. It's part of the SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) Lansdale/Doylestown Line, which is a train service that helps people travel around the region. You can find the station near the corner of North Broad Street and Cowpath Road, also known as Route 463. Interestingly, Cowpath Road was actually a path for cows a long time ago!
In 2013, about 60 people got on trains and 103 people got off trains at Fortuna station each weekday. The station got its unique name, Fortuna, because of a special event long ago. A train from the Reading Railroad accidentally hit a cow near where the station is now. To remember the cow and make things right, the station was named Fortuna, which means 'fortune' or 'luck' in Latin.
