Fourways Farm is a fun British animated TV show for kids. It was made by Case Television and Dutch Education Television. The show aired on Channel 4 in the UK from 1993 to 1996. It was repeated often until 2007.
What's the Show About?
Nine animal friends live together on Fourways Farm. In each episode, one or more animals accidentally find out something cool about science. By night, they try to figure out why it happened. They often find a logical answer before bedtime.
Three sneaky rats also live on the farm. They often try to steal food from the other animals. But sometimes, they put their tricks aside to help out when there's trouble!
Meet the Farm Animals!
- Davenport the Dog - He has black and white fur. Davenport speaks in an excited, fancy voice.
- Martha the Cow - She has brown fur. Martha is thoughtful and likes to think things over.
- Godfrey the Horse - He has black and white patches. Godfrey is proud of his skills and has a Yorkshire accent.
- Ginger the Cat - She has stripy ginger fur. Ginger speaks with a fancy Edinburgh accent.
- Dudley the Pig - He waddles when he walks and loves to eat turnips. Dudley has a West Country accent.
- Brenda the Duck - She has white feathers. Brenda speaks quite loudly with a Scottish accent.
- Uno the Large Rat - He has brown fur and always wears sunglasses. Uno is the leader of the rats and plans most of their tricks. He has a cockney accent.
- Duo the Medium Rat - He has brown fur and buck teeth. Duo is not very smart and speaks in a deep voice.
- Trio the Small Rat - He has light brown fur. Trio speaks in a high-pitched voice.
- Voltaire the Weather vane - He is the golden narrator of the show. You can usually see him on top of the farm's archway.
