Fox is a popular entertainment TV channel in Asia. It is owned by Fox International Channels and shared by STAR TV.
The channel first started in Japan in February 1998. Other Fox channels like Fox Crime and Fox life also launched there. Fox Japan shows different programs compared to Fox Asia.
In Asia, Fox began testing its broadcasts in December 2009. It showed many US TV series. The first TV provider in Asia to offer Fox was SkyCable in the Philippines. They launched the channel on January 5, 2010. StarHub TV in Singapore followed on February 1, 2010. Other TV providers in the region soon added the channel too.
