While Fox News is often seen as leaning towards conservative ideas, it also features some hosts who have more liberal views.

Why Some People Criticize Fox News

Some people have criticized Fox News. For example, a documentary called Outfoxed said that the channel shows a bias towards conservatives and the Republican Party.

Fox News says that its opinion shows do share conservative views. However, they state that their regular news programs are fair and balanced.

Some people, including a spokesperson for former President Barack Obama, have suggested that Fox News works to support the Republican Party. Roger Ailes, who helped create Fox News, once said that the channel helps balance out other news groups like ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, Cable News Network, and MSNBC, which he felt were more liberal.
