Francesca P. Roberts (born December 19, 1953) is an American actress who has appeared in many movies and TV shows. She is well-known for playing Big Bertha in the live-action movie Super Mario Bros. in 1993. She also played Anita Craig in the TV show Baby Talk and Anna-May in Frank's Place.
Early Life and Education
Francesca P. Roberts was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 19, 1953. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her mother was Margaret B. Roberts, and her father was Bobby Ray Louis Roberts Sr. She had two younger sisters, Melanie and Bianca.
Francesca went to three different colleges to study acting. These included the University of New Orleans and Southern Illinois University. She also studied at L'École de Mime Jacques LeCoq in both New Orleans and Paris, France. Before working in TV and movies, she performed in plays at several theaters, including the Group Repertory Theatre in North Hollywood.

Francesca Roberts started her acting journey on stage before moving to television. Her first TV appearance was in a small role in Starsky & Hutch in 1979. The next year, she made her first movie appearance in Inside Moves (1980).
