Francisco Adolfo Marcos-Marín (born June 20, 1946, Madrid) is a Spanish linguist. A linguist is someone who studies languages. He is now a retired professor of Linguistics and Translation at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Before that, he was a professor at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' in Italy. He also taught at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Universidad de Valladolid in Spain.
